About Kenny Bosak
I started photography in the second grade with this Argoflex 75, which explains the picture I use in my profile. It used 620 roll film and 3-1/2”x3-1/2” prints were made at the local Thrifty drug store. Little did I know that photography would become a hobby and passion for me throughout my life. I was the high school newspaper and yearbook photographer my senior year. I latter worked in several professional photo labs during the 1980’s and 90’s developing C-41 rolls of 110, 35mm, 120, 220 film, as well as, 4x5, 8x10, and 11x14 sheet film. I also learned to develop slide film with the E-6 process. Making color and Black & White enlargement prints were the most fun with the old Bessler enlargers. Landscape photography became my favorite subject, but taking pictures of animals, birds, sunsets, and aircraft also became challenging and fun to capture. Most of my earliest work was taking with a Canon F-1 camera and numerous 35mm rolls of Kodak Kodachrome 25 and 64. Nowadays, I use a Canon 50D for my digital photography. It is more convenient and much less expensive to use, but I do miss the days of film. I hope you enjoy my artwork. Thank you. Kenny Bosak
